Web security is as old as the internet itself. Protection of traditional hard copy data like filing cabinets was invented to secure precious data. Similarly, Web security was conceptualized to put ample protection and security in an otherwise open highway flooded with information. Access to vital information must be limited and secured. Strategies of Web security have to be diverse in order to respond to existing and new forms of attacks.
